Startup Island TAIWAN is a national startup brand initiated by Taiwan’s National Development Council (NDC). It plays a coordinating and communicating role across Taiwan’s government agencies, while connecting diverse ecosystem partners, including investors, communities, and startups. At the same time, it attracts outstanding startups from around the world to Taiwan to collaborate with local ecosystem partners and expand globally.
Startup Island TAIWAN provides governments and enterprises worldwide with a platform to connect with Taiwan’s technology startups and ecosystem partners. It has also established overseas hubs in Silicon Valley, the United States, and Tokyo, Japan, serving as hubs for local support and resource connections. These hubs connect startup ecosystem resources, deepen local engagement, and strengthen industry linkages.
