Houshan Fern Rising is located in Jiamin Village, Xiulin Township, Hualien County, and offers visitors an immersive journey into Truku culture, local agriculture, and indigenous food traditions.

Starting from the cultivation of bird’s nest fern, the experience has expanded to feature local ingredients such as red quinoa, turmeric, and makauy. Visitors can enjoy cultural guided tours, hands-on farming activities, DIY workshops, and in-depth village experiences.

Local cuisine highlights salted pork, tribal-style sausages, seasonal vegetables, and other locally sourced ingredients. In the evening, guests can relax with indigenous-inspired dishes and live music, experiencing a different side of the village after sunset.
