As the on-device AI leader, the innovative spirit has always been a part of Qualcomm's DNA. Building upon Qualcomm's longstanding collaboration with Taiwan's ICT ecosystems, QITC was started in 2019 to support Taiwanese startups by providing professional technical support and resources, and to encourage them to develop innovative solutions by using Qualcomm's diversified platforms. By holding the Challenge, Taiwan's innovative ideas can be integrated with global resources to further propels Taiwan's information and communication technology industry and startup ecosystem.

With this program we offer a comprehensive incubation program, including the access to Qualcomm technology, business coaching, IP training, as well as financial grants, and encourage startups' protection of inventions through patent filing.

This year, the shortlisted teams of QITC 2025 focused on edge AI by using Qualcomm's AI technology and platforms to develop innovative AI solutions into diversified areas such as smart transportation and IoT, biotech, smart healthcare, and legal tech, fully showcasing the robust capabilities and yielding fruitful results.
