新北市政府

The vision for New Taipei City’s governance is to create a city where people can live and work in peace and contentment. New Taipei City, home to 1.2 million young people aged 18 to 40—the highest in the nation—established its Youth Department in January 2022. The Department is dedicated to supporting youth development with the goal of making New Taipei a city where young people can thrive.

The New Taipei City Government Youth Department’s responsibilities include promoting youth public engagement, career services, entrepreneurship, and international participation.

New Taipei City was the first city government to establish an incubator dedicated to youth entrepreneurship. In an effort to drive the growth of startups, Innosquare was launched in 2014, located on the third floor of the Taipei Bridge MRT station. As of this year, the Youth Department has eight youth startup bases that provide working spaces, consulting services, and integrate New Taipei City’s diverse industry resources. This system helps entrepreneurs quickly establish valuable business connections, receive advice, and access investment opportunities, thereby accelerating the validation and growth of their businesses.
